After I agreed to have the parts ordered and the work was done to my car I received another call from Mat saying the "code came back" for the timing chain. If the code for the timing chain came up initially why wasn't the over arching issue resolved instead of the trivial one? I actually spent several days looking at the Envision, each time, Codie was again patient with my questions. After visiting my bank and getting a local rate, I went back to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. The Manager, John Rendo, was able to Certify the vehicle adding another year of warranty and was also patient with all my questions and needs when going through the final negotiation. Their Finance Manager, Omar, was able to beat my Bank Rate and took additional time to make sure I understood all the paperwork.

All in all, I felt like family when I left with my car keys! I will be purchasing another vehicle for my wife this Fall, and Joyce Koons will be my First stop! We went by the dealer 2x this weekend looking for a new Yukon. We have had some bad dealings with another dealer, Jerrys Chevy, and were not looking forward to working with another dealer. We were surprised to find that Koons was much different. The sales guy, Philip, was very nice and there was no pressure.

We couldn't agree on a price and didn't buy a car, but we will be going back there when we need a new car. I had written a previous review about this dealership on their DealerRater page, more specifically for the gentleman who sold me my vehicle from here a couple of weeks ago.

However, after the vehicle was purchased, everything went downhill. I had sold the dealership my old car and was supposed to be cut a check and have it in hand within days after the Sunday that I purchased my vehicle. When we don't get the check by the time they specified, my family calls to follow up. We're told something that makes absolutely no sense, AND on another note, they messed up our contract and we had to go back down to the dealership and sign another one.

While there, Omar from Finance apologizes and reassures us that everything is correct this time and also lets us know that we should receive our check in a couple days. We don't even hear from them. So we call the store and speak with Omar. Omar says that he doesn't know what was going on, but that he will speak to the manager as soon as he gets off the phone and will follow up with us in the morning.

We also email the manager and tell her about our frustration. They told me that they weren't able to cut our check because the "paperwork hadn't gone through," but that they'd "break the rules" this time around for us and cut us a check early. They offered to come to our house, but they have no place coming to our home. Would they like it if we went to their personal home to do business?

I show up to the dealership and am greeted by Omar. He is polite, apologizes and shakes our hands and leads us back to Andy's office and says that he'll be able to help us. We took it for a drive. I really liked how it handled. I hate haggling over the price so I asked him for his best deal. I had a car to trade in - even as dirty as it was - I got a good trade-in value. The entire transaction was completed in about an hour. It's been 2 weeks now since I drove my new Acadia off the lot.
